Little Miss Kinley's 16 month updates!

Here are some pictures of our growing 16 month old:

New things she likes, has done and kept busy with this last month (October-November):

-If she sees you eating something, she'll come over to you and say, "MmmmMMMmm" and expect you to give her some

-11th & 12th teeth have cut through

-Her vocabulary has exploded this last month! Here are some of her new words: car, horse, kitty, spoon, fork, quack, flower, grack (for graham cracker), WOW, sticker, bear, feet, pants, scared, boots, hat, church, apple, moo, frog, straw, truck, car, hair, binks (for binky), cheek, ear, chin

-First started saying "pa" for grandpa, but has now started to make the "g" sound, so it's more of a "gampa" now

-First time going to the U of U bookstore and walking around the campus

-Has started smacking her lips 

-Had her first high fever for a few days and was the most pathetic, lethargic thing ever! Broke our hearts!

-Ate popcorn for the first time

-Has started crossing her legs (Indian style) when she sits on the floor

-Will now blow kisses (but only if she wants to)

-When there's music on, she not only dances, but will sing along to the music or words

-Will go up to a door that's closed and knock on it for someone to answer

-She's really grasped the concept of "sad" and uses it to describe how she's feeling if she gets hurt in some way, hears another kid crying in the store, sees Adam leave for work, one of her shows ends or she doesn't get her way regarding something her responses is always: "sad"

-She's also grasped the concept of "back" and if someone leaves the room she immediately says, "back" indicating that she doesn't want them to go but to come back to where she is

-I went in to her room to get her from her nap and she pointed to the ground where she had dropped her binky and said "fall." Or in other words, "my binks fell to the floor and I want it back" - haha this has happened more than once

-Still napping 1 time a day (mid- afternoon)

-Wears either a size 4 or 5 shoe

-Blows bubbles in the tub

-Still wearing size 3 diapers

-Clothing sizes: 12 month, 12-18 month, and 18 month stuff
