It's hard to hold a candle in the cold November rain (snow..)

Adam and I had the chance to visit Southern California for an last minute trip for our niece, Juliet's, baby blessing. We had a great weekend of Louis' soccer game, brunch at a delicious spot in Laguna Beach, Utah football (not so great point of the weekend, but we're going to block this from our recall), laughs, Cafe Rio, and of course a special baby blessing. Isn't this an attractive family?!

For Thanksgiving we packed our bags and headed to Utah to visit Ma & Pa Myers. Our flight got canceled because of the Blizzard of 2010...which didn't end up being that big of a deal. But our flight was canceled none the less. We got to know the Oakland and Vegas airports very well. Our two hour trip ended up being more of an 8.5 hour trip, but we made it.....made it to what? Well...this:

 Burrrr! My San Diego upbringing is really a disadvantage whenever we visit Utah in the winter. I'm always surprised I don't freeze over.

We got to see our brother-in-law, Geoff, briefly before he went home to his cute family in North Carolina. Thanks for the Europe tips and laughs, Geoff! Adam's brother, Mike and his wife Kelli and their cute kids made it up to Utah too, so we had a blast with them. Here are some pictures:

Lots and lots of snow! Luckily we and Pa made it safe and sound to and from the airport safely. We had such a great time and are so grateful to have spent such a fun holiday with family. We wish all of our other family could have been there too. It was a happy Thanksgiving!
